In a recent phase 3 trial Cytodyn requested a 4-dose protocol for Leronlimab in the trial design. The FDA rejected the request and directed 2-doses over 2 weeks.
Leronlimab is so safe the FDA previously approved it for weekly self-administration in a phase 3 HIV trial! 100’s of patients self-injected 100’s of doses, some spanning almost 7 years!
Home administration is not authorized by the FDA without the utmost scrutiny and review of safety data supporting unsupervised self-injection. The decision to limit Cytodyn’s CD12 to 2 doses to a dying person while under the most highly monitored ICU setting is a complete, unfounded reversal of that decision, has absolutely no scientific nor medical justification and requires immediate investigation! Supporting data clearly indicates that had 4 doses been approved Statistical Significance would have been met resulting in an immediate EUA. The only answer that explains this unjustified trial protocol rejection was a deliberate attempt to prevent Stat Sig in the trial and delay an EUA. As a result, 100K’s of avoidable deaths have occurred and will continue daily until an EUA is issued. Sir, I urge you, investigate this before more people die needlessly. Every minute matters to somebody who’s life depends on Leronlimab. The life you help save could be your own.
